Amy taught at Simon Fraser University (SFU) in their Career Development Practitioner Program. She has also consulted for SFU’s Continuing Studies as a clinical counsellor reviewing and interpreting psychometric tests for students engaged in career assessment packages.

 

She was also a counsellor and instructor at The Adler Centre and has taught a number of classes for parents in Adlerian Parenting Theory (Positive Discipline Theory and Systematic Training for Effective Parenting (STEP).  

 

Amy is certified as a Positive Discipline Facilitator and possesses a post-graduate teaching certificate for TESOL from Langara College.​
